BURLESON COUNTY PROPOSED BUDGET
FOR FISCAL YEAR 2019
The Burleson County Commissioners will hold a public hearing
and consider action on the proposed FY2019 County Budget on
Monday, September 24, 2018, at 9:00 a.m.
in the County Courtroom on the third floor of the
Burleson County Courthouse in Caldwell, Texas.
A copy of the proposed budget is available for public inspection
in the County Clerk’s Office during regular office hours.
Notice of Proposed Tax Rate Information
“The FY2019 Budget will raise more revenue from property taxes than last year’s budget by an amount of $786,848 which is 9.47 percent increase from last year’s budget. The property tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year is $106,201. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE INCREASED BY 11.118 percent and will increase taxes for maintenance and operations on a $100,000 home by approximately $10.00.
